2014
Kota Drive his car in tokyo crowed road. Beside him, Kei sit patienly, sometimes, she take ut her phone to check massage. The only sound is from tape that play some classic music. Kei let out her sigh and change the song playfully.
"Get bored?" ask Kota.
"Yeah. So much. And, where will we go acctually?"
"Hm, Lets say, its secret,"
"Ko, im serious. Trully, Just suddenly last night you said to meet in the "our tree" and the, pulled me inside the car and right now, you bring me somewhere i dont know,"
"Just wait Kei-chan. You will know where i'll bring you. Or maybe, you want to sleep, i will wake you up when we arrive?"
"How can you told me to sleep in this kind of situation. Im curious. Really!"
"Ssst, dont talk loud. I cant hear the music,"
"Aish! Yabu! say to me now, where will we go, or stop righ tnow, i'll go down. Here,"
"Ck. Wakatta. Wakatta. We are heading to Airport,"
"HAH? Airport? who will go abroad? where?"
"Can you just ask one by one?"
"Just answer me, Baka!"
"The one will go is us, Love,"
"WE? Are you crazy? Then what happen with our job? my job? your job? oh my god, kota!"
"I take few days to us. I already sent the letter to your boss. And he give me his permission. I take 3 days starting from tomorrow, so we need to ride tonight plane. Dont worry about your belongings, i already back it, and now its on our luggage behind,"
"But, tell me where will we go? Seoul? Beijing? Bangkok?"
"No. We will go to Okinawa. I just can take 3 days for this. I cant go to far and need a lot of time,"
"Okinawa? Hounto? Demo, why so suddenly you bring me there? I mean, what is the purpose of this? You arent do it to waste your money right? because if you do it, i definitely "kill" you,"
"Hm? What should i say? Should i say, i plan this as our official honeymoon?"
"Honeymoon? Why so suddenly, even you are not saying anything to me from the start,"
"Well, yeah. You know, I want us to enjoy our day as newleads. We were really busy after our wedding day. When i think, i can make us free a litle, i think, why not we take day off to use it as our honeymoon. We havent do our honeymoon in proper way, right?"
"Then, if its like that, we dont need to go to okinawa. We can go to osaka, or somewhere else. Why must Okinawa?"
"You'd said that. You want to go Okinawa with someone you love,"
"Eh? i'd said that? when?"
"Back to our school days. The day before graduation ceremony. Under "our tree","
"Ah, thats so,"
-Flashback-The day before graduation Ceremony
The road was full of Cherry blossom. Whereever you see, you can only see pink color. Its spring already. And here it is. Under big cherry blossom tree. Under the pink blossom, Kei and kota sit and their lunch. They silently eat their lunch. Sometimes, Kei just busy when the breeze make her hair mess.
"You will come tomorrow, right, Kota?" After she done with her meal.
Kota swallow his rice and drink his water before say, "Of course. I need to come, right? I must come to see your speech as the best student this year,"
"You dont need to come if your purpose to do it, only. I dont even care about that speech. Why you are the one who care about it?"
"Eii, dont do it like that. Just kidding, Kei-chan. I need come to get my diploma. You know it,"
"Can i ask something to you?"
"Hm? Nani?"
"Will we separated after graduation. Im pretty sure we will go to differeent path,"
"Dont worry. We can always go out. In here, in our "big tree","
"Is that so. You must be always ready if i ask you out,"
"Haha. Okei! Demo ne Kei-chan, you are really sugoi desune,"
"HA? How can you said it?"
"Well, you see every prestigius university in this country offer you to go theirs. Even you can easily pass the difucult major. Medical school. Its really great. I dont think my bestfriend is the one who get it,"
"But, i already rejected it. I dont like goint to medical school. Its tiring,"
"Of course you reject it. You accept the one from Meiji University right. From your favorite major, Architechture. Lucky! I still need to do test to enter the university,"
"Dont make me laugh. You are Yabu Kota that i know, deshou? you can do it. By the way, where will you do the test?"
"Waseda University. Humanisme Dapartment,"
"Uwaaaa. Sugoi desune. Its great university too,"
"Thats true. My parent recomend me to there too,"
"Yappari. We will go to different path,"
"IIyo. Even we have different path we will always end up at here, at our tree, deshou? Then, if its not, will you go to another city? another country?"
"Its not like i want to move and leave Tokyo. But, i really want to go Okinawa. If i go there, i cant meet you in here,"
"Okinawa? when?"
"Hm? few years letter. I want to go there with the one i love. You know, if i do it, i cant meet up with you. But if i still in here, i can get my dream to go Okinawa with my love,"
suddenly Kota say, "Then, ill bring you there,"
"EH??" ask Kei disbelief.
Kei look at Kota. But Kota just smile at her. Not answering anything. just let their skin feel the spring breeze. And Their day end just like that. With big question on Kei's mind. And big smile on Kota's.
